HOMEWORK for next lesson

1/ Study GRAMMAR 3 and create a review card 

2/ ORDER the ENGLISH GRAMMAR IN USE 5th Edition, with answers ( 9781108457651)  and do 2 exercises in Unit 5. If you do not have the book: do 2 exercises online, using the QR codes which are at the end of the GRAMMAR 3 lesson. You will catch up on the exercises later.

3/ Revise V2 (UNIT 1, pages 13)

4/ Revise page 3 « General Knowledge »

5/ Memorise the timeline page 2

6/ Revise irregular verbs Part 3 (GRAMMAR 29). This should only take 2 minutes. Remember repetition is the key to memorise efficiently.

HOMEWORK for next lesson

1/ Study GRAMMAR 3 and create a review card 

2/ ORDER the ENGLISH GRAMMAR IN USE 5th Edition, with answers ( 9781108457651)  and do 2 exercises in the corresponding unit. If you do not have the book: do 2 exercises online, using the QR codes which are at the end of the GRAMMAR 2 lesson. You will catch up on the exercises later.

5/ Read one article (in Vocable). You can either use the same issue or borrow a new one from the school library.

  1. Documents to be used this year: tools, apps, how to…, MOE Booklet (see the MOE padlet),
  2. Explanations on MOEs
  3. First challenge of the year : Name all 50 States that make up the USA.
  4. Memory tips to permanently remember all 50 U.S. states

HOMEWORK for next lesson (which will be on Monday 8th 2025)

1/ Study GRAMMAR 1 and create a review card 

2/ ORDER the ENGLISH GRAMMAR IN USE 5th Edition, WITH answers and do 2 exercises in Unit . If you do not have the book: do 2 exercises online

3/ Memorise all 50 states that make up the USA

4/ Practice introducing yourself (MOE Booklet page 8 and 9)

5/ Read one article from the Vocable issue you borrowed from the school library. Prepare a short presentation (2–3 minutes) to share with your group. You may use up to 20 words of notes on a sheet of paper. Your presentation does not need to be formal, but it should be engaging and interesting.
